About Pattani

Pattani is one of the southern provinces of Thaialnd.  It has outstanding cultural places such as Krue Se Mosque, Lim Kor Niao Shrine, and beautiful natural features including forests, rives, and seas.


Now, there are 12 district – Mueang, Khok Pho, Ma Yor, Nong Jik, Panare, Saiburi, Yarang, Yaring, Thung Yang Daeng, Mai Kaen, Ka Phor, and Mae Lan.


How to go

There are many Bangkok– Pattani buses from many companies in the Southern Bus Terminal.  The trip takes about 15 hours.

Take the southern train to Khok Pho Station in Pattani.  From the station to the city, you can take a taxi or minibus in front of the train station.  For more information, call 1690 or go to  www.railway.co.th

There are no regular commercial flights to Pattani. Visitors can fly to Hat Yai and then take a regular bus or taxi from Hat Yai to Pattani, a distance of about 100 kilometers.


Hat Wasukri

The beach is about 52 kilometres from Pattani and about 2 kilometres from Sai Buri. It is in Patatimo Village, TambonTaluban. Visitors can use the Pattani-Narathiwat route or use the route passing Hat Khae Khae to Sai Buri, or directly turn left at the junction to Sai Buri. The beach is parallel to the pine line. Bungalows are also available for service.
